Class Status
A student's class status (freshman, sophomore, etc.) is determined by the number of credits the student has completed. Class status is important for several reasons. For example, a course may have a minimum class status as a prerequisite.
The class status of a Computer Science major at Villanova is determined by the following credit thresholds:
| Class Status | Number of Credits |
|---|---|
| Freshman | 0 - 33 |
| Sophomore | 34 - 63 |
| Junior | 64 - 95 |
| Senior | 96 or more |
