Graduate Certificates

Each certificate requires five courses, including a Grand Challenges project in the topic area. Students interested in a particular certificate program should contact the appropriate certificate coordinator if they have any questions. The Grand Challenges topic must be approved by the certificate coordinator. The coordinator may also approve a student's request to replace one of the courses with a thesis option.

These certificates are available to MS students and can be earned with our MS programs. They are also available for part-time students who only wish to apply for a certificate. Such students should follow these application guidelines.
