Posted: 2008/4/1

Sophomore CS major AJ Palkovic has been accepted to the SURF (Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship) program at Cal Tech for this summer.  Starting on June 17, he will spend ten weeks in Pasadena at Cal Tech and JPL (Jet Propulsion Labs) working with the JPL team that designed the ROAMS simulation package.  This package was used to design and test the hardware and software of several high-profile NASA robot probes, including most recently the Mars Rovers. His project will involve enhancing the statistical and experimental profiling capabilities of the package.

Congratulations to AJ!
