Villanova Department of Computing Sciences

Student Travel

Students in the Department of Computing Sciences who are traveling to conferences or workshops to present their research or participate in approved activities may be able to receive financial support for the trip. Travel funds can be used for flights, conference registrations, lodging, and meals.

Graduate students should apply for travel support using the request form from the office of Graduate Studies. Fill out the form and submit it to the Department of Computing Sciences (MSC 161).

Undergraduate students should apply for travel support by contacting Dr. Robert Beck, the Chair of the Department of Computing Sciences. Send an email to him explaining the purpose and details of your trip.

Travel and registration costs for the Villanova programming teams are sponsored by the department and the Villanova ACM. Student members of the programming teams do not need to request travel funds for programming contest trips.
