Java Developer
Job Description: We are looking for Java developers in the DC/Northern VA area to be key members of our software development team in the rapidly-growing RFID industry.
The key activity of this position will be to design and implement applications with well-designed and attractive user interfaces.
Minimum recommended qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- 3 years professional OO software development experience
- Solid understanding and experience in software engineering practice
- Proficiency designing and programming GUIs in Java or .NET
- Moderate proficiency with 2D graphics
Additional desirable qualifications:
- MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- 5 years professional OO software development experience
- Experience with socket programming, databases, and embedded systems
- Moderate proficiency 3D graphics
- Education and/or experience in Software Usability or HCI
- Any knowledge and/or hands-on experience with RFID would be a major plus
