Villanova Wireless and Mac
Following are instructions for connecting a Mac to the Villanova Wireless network. Before proceeding, please make sure that you can fulfill all of the requirements outlined below.
Requirements
- Mac OS 10.3 (Panther) or newer
- Airport wireless card
- LDAP username and password
Connecting to the Villanova Wireless network
- Go to Internet Connect (found in the Applications folder)
- From the File menu select New 802.1X Connection and configure it with LDAP username and password. Select Villanova for Wireless Network.
- Under Configuration, select Edit Configurations. Select Villanova for Wireless network and TTLS and PEAP as the authentication protocols.
- Select TTLS and click the Configure button. Choose PAP for inner authentication and type in "anonymous" for the Outter Identity.
- Connect and accept all certificates.
